Wednesday was our 1920's Hollywood day. We had Karaoke, a huge buffet, movie games and a Stunt Double Obstacle Course. Here is part of the room for the Hollywood day, that's film hanging from the ceiling.
The Stunt Double Obstacle Course was so fun to put together, each part of the course represented a different movie . . .
1. Save Nemo from the Burning Building - Ladder 49
2. Jump ecstatically onto the beanbag - Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
3. Spin in the office chair 5 times - Office Space
4. Walk the plank - Pirates of the Caribbean
5. Crash through the brick wall - The Hulk
6. Throw Nemo into the hospital - John Q
Nick took this picture with his department. What a complete nerd!! He looks pretty cute as a girl!
Thursday was Alaska and the Outdoors. We got all kinds of Outdoorsy things from Tai Pan Trading and decorated the whole room. We borrowed wood carvings from a business and placed them the bears, eagles and dolphin all around the room. We had picnic lunches, a fishing pond, a Frozen T-Shirt Contest (it's not as dirty as it sounds, you just wet and freeze a t-shirt and they have to unthaw it as quickly as possible) Arctic Canoeing pictures, and an Animal Call Contest.

I have a committee of 9 amazing people who helped me out all week. They were wonderful and I couldn't have done it without them. Since I work alone and don't have a team, my work committee are some of my best friends. I've known most of them for at least 4 years now. Each year Associate Appreciation Week gets easier and easier because these people keep getting better and better. Eventually our preparation will become so advanced that we will just be able to telekinetically set up everything. I love them like family and they helped make it a great week!!!

I'm bummed that I missed it! It looks like you did a great job. I miss helping you out with stuff like that. I was telling Kristo the other night that the thing I miss most about working is stopping by your desk to say hi and chat. It's stunk not seeing you as much. I love you sista Lizz.
Lizz you are one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. You are awesome and a blast! I am SO glad to be a part of your committee... I love love love it!!!
Thanks guys, that's so sweet!!!
