I wake up a couple hours later, and roll over. The digital clock says 10:00 and I think "Thank You Nick."
I come downstairs and notice that I don't see Asher or Nick and it's completely quiet. I walk into the bathroom and see this note on the mirror.
I pick up the phone and dial Nick at work . . .
Lizz: "You're so awesome."
Nick: "Uh, thanks. Why am I so awesome?"
Lizz: "Because you let me sleep in."
Nick: "I didn't let you sleep in, Asher let you sleep in."
Lizz: "Huh?"
Nick: "What are you talking about?"
Silence
Lizz: "Asher's not here."
Nick: "Lizz, where is Asher?"
Silence
Lizz: "Nick, don't . . . "
Nick: "Don't what, is Asher not in his bed?"
I walk into Asher's room and look into his crib. My heart dropped to a black cavernous region somewhere below my belly button.
Lizz: "Nick, he's not in there."
Nick: "Are you sure?"
Lizz: "Yes Nick, he's not in there."
Nick: "Lizz, check again."
Silence
Some adult words of the four letter variety came out of my mouth.
Lizz: "Oh my ^*&%, oh #&$% . . . "
Nick: "Is he there?"
Lizz: "Yeah . . . "
Nick: "It's okay."
I go directly above his crib and notice that he's curled into the fetal position in the lower right hand corner, surrounded by stuffed animals. The corner wasn't visible to me when I first checked his bed. I immediately start to cry because I realize how not all right that would have been.
Asher got his immunizations yesterday and didn't wake up till 11:15. As soon as he woke up I hugged him for as long as I could stand. Stinker . . .

That would FREAK me out. If LT sleeps in any longer than 7 I start to worry and wonder if he is still alive!
Oh my goodness. That would make my heart sink too!!! is he in the bed in that picture?
Yeah, he's curled up in the corner.
