Aleena

For the past 6 years I have been working for Marriott Vacation Club. I came here looking for a temporary job but I've made some amazing friends and had kick-in-the-crotch great times. My friend Aleena, who was in my training class when I first started, is moving to Florida.

Aleena just recently became my cubicle buddy, which makes her moving away that much more difficult. We have screens between our desks, and when Aleena moved next to me was the first time that my Berlin wall came down. We've become really good friends as she's been assisting me in my position. I didn't even realize how much I was going to miss her till I thought about all of the things we've been through.

She was with me when I did my maiden Mardi Gras voyage. She helped me through my insanely overwhelming first Associate Appreciation Week, and was there to volunteer for the very sticky cotton candy fiasco of 2004, when cotton candy was all over the walls, carpet and of course, Aleena. She was thoroughly pummeled when I Sumo battled her and I almost kicked her in the face when we did the Bungee Run.

She'll be back in two years, hopefully, and I'm really going to miss her and all that's she's become to me, a friend, a helper, a support. Here's to you Aleena. Good Luck and I'll definitely miss you!
